[2023/10/10 16:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me takes a deep breath. "Grrrrrreeeeeeeeetings adventurers, other players get carefully crafted traps and puzzles, you get what I cobble together from movies."

[2023/10/10 16:13] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Ah yes, the room where pushing the button was a mistake!
[2023/10/10 16:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: and the voice saying "PUSH BUTTON TO RESET"
[2023/10/10 16:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha is badly injured.
[2023/10/10 16:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: And two skeletons, freshly reconsituted, although one is badly damaged

[2023/10/10 16:16] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to take a swing at one of the skellys, whichever is closest

[2023/10/10 16:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Cantankerous old bones, just back off before we smash you to shards!" She'll brandish her spear, making wide swings to smack instead of stab the bony jerks.

[2023/10/10 16:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia heals Leesha, the skeletons claw at Leesha and Debben but miss. There are loud clunks and clicks and the button starts to flash quickly and brightly, with a brightly lit sign beside it: "PUSH TO RESET"

[2023/10/10 16:26] Sonja Bikergrrl: Meanwhile there are -really- loud clanks and clunks and a loud beeping noise, the button flashing brightly and rapidly as a skeleton collapses in a shower of bones

[2023/10/10 16:28] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben moves to flank around the remaining skeleton, trying to keep it distracted!

[2023/10/10 16:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... Debben takes a swipe and hits the skeleton, at about the same time the loud voice speaks again: "NO RESET. DEACTIVATING" and the last skeleton pitches forwards with a loud clattering and stays still. The door the skeletons stood on either side of clicks and swings open.

[2023/10/10 16:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: (I've heard of parties getting stuck for -ages- on that puzzle.)

[2023/10/10 16:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: There's three rough stone brick walls, a lever to one side, and a wall apparantly made up of smooth greyness. There's a huge "4" painted on the grey wall.

[2023/10/10 16:39] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks at it and leans against the door frame. "I've been impulsive too often. I'm taking a me break."

[2023/10/10 16:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's on the stone wall, about halfway across the width of the room

[2023/10/10 16:43] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to go examine the rough stone walls, to see if anything is hidden on them

[2023/10/10 16:44] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben will pace the room inspecting the walls, floors, and ceilings.
[2023/10/10 16:44] Alicia Frakture: *Yes made it under Wisdom*
[2023/10/10 16:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: Badly made stone bricks... and the other wall, with the "4" on it, seems to be made of small hexagons. The walls are solid.
[2023/10/10 16:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben notes that no dwarf made the stone walls, although what the grey hexagon wall is made of is anyones' guess
[2023/10/10 16:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: Hmm. Wasn't there a doorway in? It's gone. And there's no other entrance/exit that you can see.
[2023/10/10 16:47] Alicia Frakture: I am checking the floor. Just have a feeling that if that lever is pulled we're gonna drop

[2023/10/10 17:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: All of a sudden, a table fades into view, with a bunch of humans sitting round it with scraps of paper, books and various dice, with three sat at one end and one sat at the other. These people seem like they're pretending to be the other people; the one in charge at the end of the table looks at them and says, 'You triggered an illusion trap! Make a saving throw! Everyone, roll a D20.'
[2023/10/10 17:02] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): notes the shimmering light that appeared and speaks, "I think the last attempt did make something happen, but no idea what. i think the flipping the lever 4 times did something, but thinking maybe our position in the room affects it too"

[2023/10/10 17:06] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Very," Debben shudders. "But this wall broke open, and I'd very much like to be aware from here sooner rather than later," she adds, prodding the space where the 4 wall used to be and attempting to leave.
[2023/10/10 17:06] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me "I saw something , a vision of the gods!", her excitement though calmed then before she said another word, "But they gave no sign of any way out of here, If there was one they would have shown me im sure of it."

[2023/10/10 17:10] Alicia Frakture: While the others are doing their thing Leesha is going to tap the walls with her wrench to find what might be a hollow sound."Can't find an exit, make one."
